If your cat jumps and even bites you on the leg, then you have to do something in order to stop the behavior. Such a behavior will soon turn into something that you won’t be able to change anymore, so don’t risk it! When the cat bites you, snap it gently. The cat will learn the fact that it is not right and that it is definitely not a good idea to do that. The behavior will stop quite soon, but you will have to insist for a few times.  Raising the voice is another solution to the problem, so use it when the cat bites you.
